I have a 1993 K2500 with the 4 speed auto transmission and 209000 miles. when the engine is cold and I first leave the driveway the throttle works fine, when I get to the end of the street and step on the accelerator their is no response just idle, if I pump the accelerator several times the engine jumps to life, this continues until the engine warms up and then the problem stops. The truck does not do this all the time, but does do it most of the time, no warning lights are on. The injectors and pump have at least 109000 miles on them (I bought the truck at 100,000 mi). Any help would be appreciated.

First, confirm your lift pump is working. It isn't likely causing the problem, but will exaggerate other issues if it isn't keeping up.

This sounds like something sticking inside the IP. Probably related to the HPCA, since it's only when cold. A good fuel system cleaner (like Seafoam) may help. Also check the throttle linkage and brackets for interference or damage.
