Was wondering if anyone had experience with the B&M ShiftPlus Electronic Shift Improver. Does it actually improve/benefit the performance of the trans or is it a waste of money. Doesn't seem too badly priced at $40 if it does some good.

I installed the shift plus when I had new trans installed at 56,000 and now at 100,000+. I use the medium position for towing and performance feel. The high position really snaps the driveline alot more than I like.

I highly recommend the ShiftPlus. It is a simple two wire install and really improves trans performance. Stage one shifts are quick but comfortable and the torque converter locks up faster. I leave it here all the time. Stage two is good for harder acceleration or towing. In my 94 I can change switch positions at any time and not produce any codes. I'm sure it will extend transmission life. Shift points are not altered.
