I did a search on cruise control cables today to try and find out where to buy one for my truck. It seems G.M. has discountinued making them. I tried my local dealer, parts house and no one has or can get one. My truck is a 1992 chevy 2500 4x4 with a 6.5. The cable is not worn out but while putting a new ops on it a month or so ago I leaned over a little too far and broke it right where it goes into the round part just above the ip. Shurely someone out there knows where a person can find one of these. It's hard to believe as easy as this thing is to break the way it's sticking up right in the way when you go to work on the engine that I'm the only one that has ever broken one of these. Looks like someone would make as aftermarket or find one off a gas burner that would enterchange. Any ideas? Thanks,

I can get you a new one for $40. Do you need the retainer clip also?

EDIT: Sorry, I looked up a throtle cable not the cruise cable. GM did discontinue it. One off a gasser will work if you can find the right length one. Good luck
