Cranks but won't start. PMD?

[Yesterday]

I think my PMD has gone bad. Yesterday I shut it off for about 3 minutes.
Would not restart, cranked but didn't fire. Left the hood open for an hour,
started immediately. Ran the rest of the day without a problem, started
hot 6 times. This morning went to start truck, nothing. Cranked but no go, no smoke so no fuel. Pouring rain so left it, took another vehicle to work. Will change fuel filter and fuel pump, when I open the bleeder on the filter, pump only runs a few seconds.

Comments? I was considering installing the new Stanadyne PMD anyhow...:confused:

Generally speaking stalls and restarts progress to total no starts eventually. Sometimes the transition is quite rapid. I'd say PMD in all likelihood.
