I'm not going to use the Onstar in my truck. The speaker in the headliner emits an annoying high-pitched frequency at times. I think it is interference from the engine electronics. Can I disconnect it from the amp/radio? If so how? It has the Bose system system.

I had the same issue a while back but it was more of a rattle coming from the mic right overhead but it seems to have gone away. Or maybe its still there and I'm just worrying about my leaky injector or leaking transfer case. My Onstar doesn't seem to be working that well lately either lots of places it won't connect.
