Energy Suspension Motor-Mounts
Energy Suspension recently introduced a line of tough new motor-mount replacements for the 1988-2000 6.2L & 6.5L Diesel-equipped pickup trucks and SUVs.
The "Clam Shell Style" installation procedure requires separating the metal clam shell. The new Energy Suspension polyurethane mount is placed within the original metal mount and the metal clam is reused.
These new mounts are reported to be soft enough to absorb vibrations for street use yet rugged enough even for racing applications - or when repowering earlier GM vehicles to the Duramax/Allison.
