The fellows and gals who make and distribute fireworks get together once a year. This year the convention was held in Mason City, Iowa. For those interested in such things, go to their web site PGI.ORG. As usual, they did not disappoint the crowd!

The trip from Kalamazoo, MI to Mason City, Iowa and back added up to 1279 miles. Used 89 gallons of fuel....yielding 14.37 mpg. Have a 28' Holiday Rambler TT....total weight very near 8000#. Drove the speed limit....which means 55-60 mph.

I saw an ad for that when passing through Mason City / Clear Lake area earlier this summer. Sounded like a bunch of fun...:D

Not bad mileage, either. The lower speed really helps. How does your LLY handle the heat while towing in the summer?

Hi Mark

According to the factory gages, heat was not an issue. While it was good to see the good mikeage, the slower speeds made for a very relaxing trip.

I would like to get a couple of gages installed on the pillar. Would really like to have some one else more knowledgeable than my self do the install.

You can pick up used Edge stuff like this for less than a set of new gauges, have the tunes (or continue to run bone stock), EGT, Boost, and a handful of other OBD-II data feeds like IAT, gear/torque converter lock, etc. displayed realtime.

Quite a value, even if you don't want the tunes. I really like the alarms and run one for EGT, boost, and speed. (My thresholds are 1400F, 25PSI, 80MPH, respectively...) :) Very handy.
