All,
Tahoe's A/C fan on last dying gasps; barely blows on HI. I was out of town on hot West Texas day when it quit and called my mech. He said try the ole 'find the fan motor and hit it' trick. He told me it was on the passenger side in the engine compartment: I couldn't find it...
Is the A/C blower motor on this Tahoe buried beneath the radiator expansion tank? If so it must truly be buried 'cause I can't see it at all.
Otherwise where is it? Please don't tell me it's buried in the dash..
How difficult is this job to replace the A/C fan?
Thanks

Hi

What model truck do you have.

In my 1994 the fan is at the passenger side, just over the feet of the passenger.
you should be able to see the box

It's on my sig file at the bottom: 1997 Tahoe.
Thanks I will look down there.
I'm beginning to wonder if it's not the switch on the dash. Seems I had to replace that on the Burb a while back.
Still hot down here in Texas...
