Got a 2010 Toyota Corolla LE for my wife to get to/from work.

I had the 98 and then the 93 in the sig below but they both needed more time/work than I was able and wanted to give to get them reliable and durable. I really like/love the idea of a 1/2 ton diesel pickup truck for the performance and fuel mileage but, for me, there were just too much to get them up to that reliable/durable level. At the end of June I broke down and bought an 02 2500 Dodge CTD. Don't hate me. I tried the Chevys. I did not want a common rail system - parts too expensive. And I did not want a truck newer than 02 because starting in 03 diesels were required to have an EGR and Catalytic Converter. I would have preferred a 1/2 ton diesel but what I wanted was just not available so, I got the 3/4 ton Dodge.

Presently my fuel mileage is between the 98 and 93 at about 19 city/hwy but, I am working to get it up even higher. And so far the Cummins is proving to be a very nice engine.

So, sorry guys. But believe me, I have NOTHING against the older chevy diesel trucks - esp. the 1/2 tons!:)
