putting this experience out there in case it helps anyone later on. I drive an '08 Dura. yesterday morning just as I was about to arrive to work, the "engine power is reduced" message is displayed. So I'm thinking maybe the DPF is fowled out .
I began searching the forums for helpful ideas. I replaced both fuel and air fitlers but still no improvement. Took it straight to the dealer and felt fortunate to get there. they find that the wired up accelerator pedal has failed. The entire pedal has to be replaced and reprogrammed for $ 360.00, pedal only and not covered by warranty, ouch.

Thanks. But, curious. The APP (pedal) should be covered under warranty (several "warranties", probably), unless you physically damaged it, or your warranty has expired. Did they state why it wasn't covered? Does your repair order show the related DTC's?
