My truck has been stalling and restarting for the past several months. Last week it would not start and was towed to dealer. Although it did not trip the SES light .. the dealer was able to get a failing code off the PCM. The FSD/PMD failed and the pump showed a code also. The history of this truck is:
IP replaced at 12,000 miles with surging engine
PMD/FSD replaced at 65,000 miles
Optical sensor replaced at 65,000 miles
IP and PMD replaced today at 112,000
All of this was done at the dealer with no cost to me. I still have about 8,000 miles left on the extended warranty and look forward to the testing being done the SOL-D replacement for the FSD/PMD. Let's hope this is sucessful before my next failure.
