I have a 1994 GMC Suburban turbo diesel. My problem is when the truck is parked for anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour it will start fine but then after about a minute will stall.
I can restart after some considerable cranking and the truck will be fine.
If the truck sits overnight, I have no problem.
I haven't had any other problems. Filter was changed(only about 2 weeks old) Any ideas?

does the liftpump run. ?

Thanks for the idea. Yes, the lift pump did run. However, I changed the oil pressure switch and the lift pump and it seems to have cured the problem.
