All,
I am getting good oil analysis yet will drain the oil both 6.5's here soon on a 2 year max interval. Any opinions on using the drained crankcase oil, bypass filtered for it's approx 30,000 miles w/good oil analysis as IP pump lube?
I know some folks have done this, I'm thinking 1/2 qt per tank?
I know many of you will challenge me for draining the oil if the analysis is good, I haven't drained it yet as I'm waiting for the next analysis to come in actually.
I like the idea of bottling this oil and burning it rather than carrying it off.

If you can push it through a 2 micron filter, can't see why not. Just keep it below 10% and you should be alright.

If it's not good enough for the engine...
(I sure as heck wouldn't run it through the injection pump!)

Many have tried, and many have failed.
