hey anyone ever put a intercooler on one of these motors a friend gave me a intercooler i was wondering if it would be worth the mod???? and how much power could it add

It can and has been done, getting it to fit in the available space is a challenge. It will not add any power. It will allow more fuel and air to be used while maintaining EGT's at a reasonable level. With more boost and fuel you will see a power increase, but that will most likely require a turbo change, possibly injectors and tweaking the ip.
