How far can I go?

Last week I got her too hot and fried the back two pistons and scored the cylinders, wondering when I go and get my block checked out, if it checks out ok how much I can bore it before it will cause problems?

Water temp was about 220 and my pyrometer wasn't hooked up cause i wrecked the thermocoupler when I did my exhaust.

220 seems a little low to have tossed the back 2 bores and pistons. Was it smoking badly before it let go? What kind of load were you pulling.
I can't answer your max bore question but check with Mahle on piston sizes avaliible.
Oh how long did it run at 220.
