HELP, No head lights????

at first i had no head lights or day time running lights. i tore the grill off and checked the bulbs. when i unplug the right high beam i get running lights and a dim low beams.... but i still have nothing when i plug them all back in.

does any one know what this is.

Check the grounds.

Could be your light switch. They do funky things when they go south. Cheap and easy to replace.

its 91 gmc K 2500 with a 6.2 L


the switch is good, i have power going in and out, i determined that the 2 white wires are the head light power. i have a haynes manual but it dosnt show the head light wiring diagram. i need to see where the wires go to trace them.

any one have a proper diagram.??? i have the quad composite lights

ok i got it, turns out they are yellow wires not white wires. they are so faded it looked white.

the hi low beam switch was melted .

These switches do go away once in a while.
