3-53n and 4-53 Detroit's

Hi Guy's,
Does anyone know if a 353n and a 453 have the same size bell housings? I have a late 70's, early 80's Michigan loader with a 353n motor in it. One of my guy's didn't watch the oil like I asked him too! Short story and less boring, It spun a bearing and broke a rod cap! Found a nice 453 cheap and was wondering fit it would match up to bell housing? Thanks! Jeff

I don't know if you've gotten an answer elsewhere yet, but as far as I know the only difference between the 3s and 4s is the length of the block. So the bellhousing "should" bolt up.
