I can't find this in previous columns:

What are the internal differences in the 05 Allison 5 spd vs the 06 Allsion 6 spd automatic.

Can you make an 05 into a 6spd automatic?

Allison did some mods up in teh C2 area that resemble what the Transgo kits have in them. The new electronics pkg is much faster and smarter.

Suncoast has a 6 sp conversion kit. I run one in my 2005 and love it, BUT don't expect it to pay off in MPG gains. It's more a matter of peace and quiet due to less RPM cruising.
