2000 Suburban 1500 - 5.3 L engine
Low coolant warning light....
Dang warning light keeps coming on when I know darn good and well that the coolant is to full capacity. New water pump, a flush, and new hoses and clamps. Temperature gauge shows within acceptable range of the normal operating temperature. I get an ever so slight whiff of antifreeze every now and then (before the new pump, etc...). After the new pump, light went away for a few weeks then last night got a slight whiff and the warning light today. Placed cardboard under the engine (over the last few weeks), no evident leaks. Not even a drop.
It's driving me nuts. I haven't pulled the code(s) (no code reader at hand).
Any suggestions?
