Cargo Lamp Stays On

Jumped in and started my 03 2500 HD, and noted the dash board indicator for the cargo lamps was on. Checked power switch on dash, and confirmed it was off. Stopped and checked cargo lamps, and they are on. They now stay on as long as the key is on. They do shut off when the accessories time out after turning off ignition switch. Any ideas?

Maybe some water got in the light and grounded it. Or the BCM is acting up or a bad switch.

Is that cargo light one of the options that you have in your computer menu for when it is on and when it shuts off?
