Hello to all.
I am thinking of running Toyo LT255/85 R16 on my 2WD Dually . the Toyos are 33.3 in height. my worn Michelin LTX 235/85 16 are 32 in height . Comparing the two ,Will the taller Toyos gear ratio, offset the wider footprint the TOYOS create . In other words will my fuel mileage suffer, increase or be the same compared to the 235/85 16.

don't even think you will notice a difference in any way. i have run everything from 29 inch up to 36 inch on my trucks. to go from a 32 inch tire up to a 36" mudder, i noticed a difference, but in a matter of an inch or two of height or width, i never noticed any mileage difference. i am sure there is some, but it is so minute, you will never notice it.

I'd be more concerned with fitting a pair of 255's on without the sidewalls touching each other on the rear duals...

never thought of that. you might be having to look at spacers.

i dunno how they will do up front. being 2wd you will be sitting a bit lower. not enough experience with 2wd to advise you. how well do the 32 inch ones clear? they might clear while you are on a flat surface, but the test comes when you are turning under speed and get some travel in the suspension. can't hurt to try though. you could always run slightly smaller up front being that it is a two wheel
