Does anyone know which wire turns off the check engine light. Jamie Avant tried once to cut the wire behind the gove box but never found the right one. My engine is not electronic controlled anymore and as you might imagine it has thrown lots of codes. Thanks. Spencer

It would be easier to answer if we knew what year it is...

Sorry. Its a 1997, suburban 2500. Put a $12,000.00 Avant built motor in it at 220K. After about 40 K engine started pumping antifreeze out the exhaust pipe. All pre cups cracked. Temp strip showed hightest temp of 260. Put new heads on it and currently putting it back together. Once I get it going I want the ses light to go out. Hence the question. Great suburban. It even has a 5000 watt generator on it. Gives me 120 ac or 230 ac juice whenever I want it. Sitting still or riding down the road. Comes in real handy when the power goes out here in the country or camping. Made by Aura Systems. Thanks. Spencer
