How do I find out what type of transfer case that I have on a 2001 2500HD with electric shift 4x4? Looking to put in the after market pump repair for the leaking transfer case problem, GM repaired it for me at about 75K but I'm sure they only put a new case 1/2 on and I'm sure it is working on a new hole, so i'm going to install the after market pump repair.
And I plan on refilling it with Amsoil so what type of T Case do I have and how do I confirm that.

Mine has a little round metal taag on it. Abvout the size of a silver dollar. It has a the t-case info on it. Model No. ect.

This would be the NP263XHD

If you are talking about the plate in the DP review, it fits most any so model does not matter.
