I just bought this, i'm installing it now. Is $30 reasonable for these cds? It seems like a he real deal. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=7997514088&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT

claims to have all GM repair manuals from 1996+ on it. much cheaper than the Helm manuals... I wonder.

Helm charges $400 for the DVD i think

Hey Aryeh Levy

So, how are the CD's? Worth the $30? Are there diagrams of things. Part numbers? Removal/Repair instructions? I'm dying to know!

There are dissassembled views and line drawings locating and identifying components

Component specific special tools and equipment part numvbers.

and a lot of "GM SPO Group Numbers"
Example:
GM SPO Group Numbers

Application

GM SPO Group Number

Camshaft Bearing

0.539

Camshaft Bearing Hole Plug

0.553

Camshaft Sprocket

0.736

Camshaft Thrust Plate

0.533

Also spreadsheets of mechanical specs, tolerances etc. It was 8 cds.

Too bad it doesn't go back before '96 and too bad it doesn't work on a Mac...

You can find it on e-bay. They guy i got them from had it for $30
now it's $20. I'm sure he'll sell you as many copies as you want. I'm pretty sure now he's trying to sell as many as cheaply before the piracy police come in to arrest him.
I know this has to be the $400 helm software. he's selling a copy right now for $17 plus 3 ship.
