I am in the process of building a red block 6.2 to have around 300 flywheel HP. In order to do this (along with internal upgrades) i am on putting a bigger turbo than the banks that was on it, as well as am looking at doing something unique to my db-2 pump.

In the pumping mechanism, i am thinking of boring out the plunger bore about 20-30% larger, as well as make machining new plungers to fit in. This should in theory give me more than enough fuel to spool a larger turbo (HX35?) to around 30PSI.

BTW, does anyone here know what the max fuel, cc wise, a stock DB-2 4911 can flow?

The high-pressure common-rail fuel injection system used 2001-2004 LB7 Duramax 6600 is emissions rated at 300 hp with 91.0mm3 fuel.

The fit, polish and metalurgy required to get a plunger set machined and that lasts will be daunting... ;)
