DB2831-5079 Injection Pump ?! Conversion to 12 Volt possible?

Hi guys,

somebody here has a DB2831-5079 IP for sale. As far as I know, it's the 200HP mechanical Humvee injection pump. Seller says, it's 24 Volt. I doublechecked that and it seems he's right.

-> This pump is brand new, would cost me $800, no core needed. Quite good deal I suppose.
-> My question: is this pump just the 24V version of the 4911 pump? What do you think, or should I just get a rebuilt 4911 for that money.

Shop around...you can get close to that price...and not have the headache of adapting it.

You are going to need to replace the 24V solenoids in order to use the HMMWV pump.

Scrounge up a 4911 IP and your set.

If you could snag that HMMWV pump somewhat cheaper it would not be a bad deal butttttt....
