There seem to always be questions about normal operating temperatures, boost pressures, transmission temperatures, etc. I thought it might be good to have a thread for us to post our numbers along with other 6.5 owners numbers so we can compare. If numbers are posted that are "out of range" please let the poster know. Be sure to post any mods along with numbers.

*Note modifications: 18 to 1 pistons, Total seal rings, Advanced timing, DSG timing gears, Mechanical boost controller, Kennedy ECM, High flow oil pump, 97+ cooling upgrades

The numbers below were during a five hour drive at about 75mph through Idaho.

Engine coolant temperature 185*-195*
Engine oil pressure 50psi
Transmission oil temperature 180, 190-195 on a long grade
Exhaust gas temperature 720* on flats up to 1050* on grades
Boost pressure 9 psi on flats, up to 13 psi on grades
Tachometer at 2700 rpm at 75 mph

On a simular subject. I just changed from 180 to 195 Tstats and improved my mileage by over 1MPG.
