Having the 'new' high miler Blazer gone over at the local Goodyear shop. Ride was rolly/mushy so had them do shocks. Turns out the takeoff gas Bilsteins, while somewhat rusty from Minnesota road salt, were still strong and rebounding nicely. They would clean up nicely with a little TLC and some yellow paint - I'd say they are 15% rusted at most.
Boxed them up in the Monroe boxes on the tech's workbench, threw them in the back of the truck. Hate to see good used parts hit the scrap bin. Recycle!
