After owning a 2002, 2004, 2006, and 2008 Duramax, I downsized, I missed the trucks so I just bought a 2001 3500 with 250K miles as a secondary "beater" truck. The truck is EXTREMELY clean and well maintained.
Here is my actual question, I've owned it one day and 3 guys have asked "How many miles is it good for?"
Best response I could give is, hell I know there are tons of them on the road!
I know this is a very subjective question but is there any kind of rule of thumb how long this truck will go without major repairs?
