I recently found two of the four nuts for the turbo mounting to the exhaust manifold flange missing and the studs rusted. This is on my 1997 Safari Class A motor home, the engine is a 6.5 L Turbo diesel front engine puller. Any help would be appreciated, space is tight not much room. The turbo is a right side and not back center. Is there a stud puller that could be recommended or a described way to remove? Thanks

Could you just run a die onto the threads to clean them up?

Heat the turbo manifold with a torch where the stuck studs are. The manifold will expand from the studs. Soak the studs/manifold with PB Blaster for some time before heating.

Odd. On mine, the turbo is fastened with bolts and nuts, and mine is only a couple of years older.
