Hi, my 94 6.5 starts up and stalls a few times right away at first start of the day. If I push on the throttle when starting it helps. Glow is working, rebuilt injectors last winter, new lift pump.

After I get it started it runs fine.

Any ideas?

The issue could be fuel line drain back due to a small air leak on the suction side of the system.

Drain back can cause air to enter the system and will result in hard starting the first crack out of the box after sitting over night.

My 94 truck does the same thing. I disconnected the two pin temp sender on the upper front water pipe. My truck starts up perfectly with this disconnected. I shut the truck down, plug the terminal back in a it starts up like crap. Checked resistance and at 80' it read 2150 ohms and when hot it reads 200 ohms. I need to do more research to check against a new sensor and see what will rectify this.
