HI!

I GOT CODES 0251, 0370 AND 1216 ON MY -96 K1500.43K MIL,
IT SOMTIME STALLS AT IDLE, OR MAKE A YERK WHEN DRIVING, ENGINE LIGHT GOES ON,ENGINE LOSES SOME POWER AND SOUNDS ROUGHER, LIKE WHEN IT`S COLD.

IS IT THE OPTIC SENSOR, FSD OR BOTH?

HAD SOME STALLING PROBLEMS A FEW MONTS AGO WHEN FUEL GOT BELOW HALF, DID I BURN THE FSD THEN?

WHAT IS THE OPTICAL SENSOR DOING? WILL FAILIOR CAUSE STALLING?

the first 2 are optical codes the last is a fuel sol code. no fsd codes. but if i had to guess i would say start with the fsd.

When optical codes are present it is best to replace the pump. That is where you'll end up.

hey kennedy, have you heard of using farm fuel causing optical codes? a guy told me that the sensor couldn't see threw the fuel.

I've heard both ways. I guess it depends on the amount of die, and the condition of the sensor. Best is not to use the red stuff altogether...
