Please check my wiring knowledge: with pics ;-)

.. as I do not want to mess things up here's a thread about the things I know/ or I believe to know :)


Ok, let's start:

1. The first connector (brown one) you see is for the Oil pressure sensor
2. The second, big one is for the glow plug relay
3. The third one, red, is for the relay too
4. The fourth, grey, is also for the relay.

both wires are attached to the starter solenoid:

Ok,

and here we've got the fuel sensor/water in fuel sensor :

I got a new style filter assembly and as it connects directly to the old style wiring harness I'm quite sure it fits ;-) (please tell me if not!):D

and another one:

the wires one and two (from above) are groudn/ attached to the firewall
the pink wire below is for the fuel sending unit

And the last one for now:

1. pink wire: for injection pump (fuel shutoff solenoid)
2. light green ?
3. green? maybe cold start solenoid
4. yellow: ??

if you ever have problems with the charging system I would check that splice connection first..

the wire for the plunger style throttle stay "cold start stuff" will get power from a temp switch usualy found at the rear of the passenger side head. it will look like a temp sender but will have 2 tangs instead of 1.

the yellow and black wire plug I think has to do with the cruise control unit mounted on the injection pump.
