Hi all Jeremy from Hancock Maryland, thought I had done an intro before but couldn't find it so here is my intro/project build thread.

truck is a mutt of parts but trying to keep it all GM

PROJECT NAME--- ARTHAS (from World of Warcraft)

DRIVE TRAIN & BODY
1984-GMC--- crew cab 2wd DRW frame
1988-CHEVY--- crew cab 2wd 4spd cab (hydro clutch)
1989?-GMC--- SRW bed
1987-CHEVY--- front clip (single headlight)
1984-GMC--- J code 6.2 Diesel (stock 112K 1 owner new injection pump)
1989-CHEVY--- Nv-3500 5spd trans np-241 transfer case (hydro clutch)
1957-GMC--- 2.5 Ton military axles 6.17 gears

MISC. & MODS
2 sets of rear bushwhacker flares made to fit all 4 corners
425/65/22.5 Goodyear tires from cement trucks
22.5 x 12.75 wheels
4-link rear on dodge ram springs (may switch back to leaf spring)
52" eye to eye Chevy 1/2 ton rear springs up front on custom mount
2wd steering box for crossover steering (not done yet)
front hubs flipped in to narrow track
front 15.3" disk brake rotors instead of drums
all wheel studs replaced with RH thread
Eaton M-90 super charger for motor (not installed yet)
Cucv brush guard on sand blasted bumper (spaced out 1.5" to clear flares)
steel 2.5" cowl induction hood (to clear charger)


PLANS
truck will be getting dual 4" stacks (using 2.5" in and 4" out import mufflers)
dark blue paint with icicles hanging down from body line
custom tailgate with plexi glass panel will be back lit
interior redone basically stock with dark blue and black
DRIVE THE HECK OUT OF IT:D really want a big cruiser to take to local shows

also should mention the jack stand is present in most pics because I have a valve stem that leaks air (oh what fun to dismount and remount these tires by hand)

Nice little beast you got there, lot of work i guess.

Looks cool, if we did something like that i Norway, they would shop of the licence plate, and claim it...

yeah it wont pass our normal inspections but we have special registrations and tags called "street rod" just for vehicles that have been extensively modified but in return you are only allowed to drive them to and from shows,parades,getting worked on or special occasions. As for the work yeah it began awhile ago I would be able to finish it up real quick if it wasn't for work,money etc lol
