Just wanted to say Hi
Finally got first on road diesel
Its a 98 Tahoe 6.5TD with 307000 on it . Clean no rust anywhere
3rd owner , seems 1st owner put the mileage up
great records .Seems like cleaning and replacing the EGR valve was
the most fixed item under hood 2nd being the CD valve , New injector pump @ 265k So that should be good for a while a few ball joint replacements along the way with a wiper motor also replaced
Truck Fires Right up, touch of smoke then clean running.
besides the oil changes and EGR & CD replacements engine has just plain run . Any areas that anyone thinks I need to keep an eye on let me know. I hope to run another few hundred thou round the rims
