Which filter assembly do you have ?? the screw on or the little Box type thats held on with the two clamps.

My best recommendation is to replace the thing with a Racor fuel manager such as the Racor 230R2

The most probably leak spot on the Box type is either the water sensor or the fuel heater.

Now if you have the later type that sits down on the back of the intake manifold, then they are noted for leaks down in the lower part of the heater unit below the filter element.

Let us know what you have.

Usually it's the big o-ring on the sensor. Remove the whole filter assembly from the firewall and pop off the sensor. Take the o-ring to the local hardware store and match one up. Reassemble.

Fixed mine some 3 years ago and no leaks since.

The function of each hole is stamped into the filter, near each rubber grommet. In; out; drain; sensor.
