Sorry for the repost, just want to catch all those who missed my previous post. I'm still looking for a used four volumn set of service manuals for my 98 Chev TD from Helms. If you know of anyone who has departed with their Chev 6.5TD but still owns the manuals I would be interested in purchasing them from the individual. Pease e-mail me at pete@reginalibrary.ca if you have a lead on these.

Thanks again,

Pete

fyi- it won't cover body, etc. but for the 6.5TD/4L80E issues, you can also use the Workhorse chassis manual for 1998. Workhorse took over the chassis business from Chevy (I think that was their first year) and sold chassis' with the 6.5. They show both L57 and L65 drivability, engine controls, etc.

I'll see if I can locate that Workhorse Manual and check the cost vs Helms.

Thanks,

Pete

I bought my used set from factoryautomanuals.com

I think I paid about $80 - they look like they are brand new.

I'm searching eBay for the Helms manuals for my 92 K2500 4x4- I'll keep an eye out for your 98 manuals, & pass on anything I see- meanwhile if any one has anything for my 92 they'd like to sell...

Thanks for watching ebay for me. I'll check out the factorymanual.com site as well.

Thanks all.
