I picked up a complete turbo setup from a 6.5td with a worn out GM3 (doesn't spin freely)

It's going onto a NA 6.2 with fairly high miles, so I'm not looking to make big boost.

Anyone got a good GM3 or GM4 for sale ?

I'd also consider a non-wategated turbo that will fit

Thanks

if you spent about $300 on that turbo it would be killer for everyday driving. Use the same exhaust wheel and housing, but upgrade the inlet side. If you do an upgrade, turbo shops usually don't charge you for assembly or a balance job, just the seals.

If the blades on the intake and exhaust wheels do not touch the housings when the shaft is wiggled as it is turned, turbo may be ok.
It will free up some under warm oil pressure.

What you don't want is a loose shaft.

What did you discover when you went shopping? I think I am in the market now also.
