PMD Revisited?

my father inlaws reved up and died and will not start! it has just over 200k miles on it, he thinks the possible of timing jump has happened! could it just be the PMD?? Its rclb, manual, 4x4!

A dying PMD can do this.

The engine RPM just goes wild then dies.

Timing on these is not likely the cause.

Try a fresh PMD and I will bet that your troubles will go away.

If the PMD is on the IP, just leave it there and mount a fresh PMD on a cooler. (use a #5 resistor in the PMD socket)
