Primary fuel filter

I have Racor 30micron fuel/water sep.filter on my 97 6.5 /R45P/ . It is ready to change. I have option to put 10micron. Would it be to much restrictions to the flow. Filter is mounted underneath of the truck, between fuel tank and lift pump. Thanks. George

I'm running a 10 micron primary in mine:

No problems.

But I'm also running a raptor 100 lift pump:

and 1/2 push lok line from the tank to the filter manager.
