I have considered upgrading my idler arms, tie rod ends, etc. I just read an article in 8 lug magazine about this. I fear I'm going to break something at a bad time and think the front end is a little sloppy. I've got 114k on stock parts.

So what is everyone else doing? What are you using?

Is this something a non mechanic could do in the driveway? The article makes it look easy!

Do u have to do an alignment afterwards? I just had one 7k miles ago.

Any issues or problems in doing this?

Anybody know roughly what these parts cost?

Thanks for any help! Shed

www.bulletproofsuspension.net . Choose your spending level.

All but the alignment can be done in your driveway.

OE Pitman arm with frame bracket

OE idler arm

Pitman/idler support braces

Tie rod sleeves on OE tie rods OR Cognito HD tie rods

This is what I suggest/sell/run myself.

Align when done.
