Hey all,

This is my first post. looks like there is a ton of information here. I did a search but couldn't find my answer.

Which injection pump is better? 4502, 4544, or 4267. I'm rebuilding a red block 6.2 for my 85 burb - so this likely wont be my last question either. Any tips or tricks are always welcomed - things to look out for, things to avoid etc.

Thanks
Rob

Hi and welcome to TDP :D

The pumps are all about the same really, except for the calibration.

The best choice would be a pump from a "J" engine (heavy duty)

The 4502 is from the light duty or "C" engine and there is no real reason to use it.

Any of the HD or "J" engine code pumps will work well.

The other two ## would be good, especially if you already have them.

Get a good pump shop that can rebuild it properly to go through the thing first.

There are a Myriad of different pumps out there to choose from that will work.

Have fun with the project.

The troopers here are always ready and willing to offer advice/help
