fuel tank

I have an 86 suburban im am working on converting to run on WVO. I was laying out plans to build a saddle tank to hold the wvo. then i got a LMC truck catalog for the pickups of this generation, flipping through it these trucks came with saddle tanks.

so my question. how different is the undercarrage between the pickup and suburban? could i easily modify a pickup saddle tank to fit under my burb or will it be too much work and i should jsut continue with my original plan to build my own?

I think they would bolt on to your frame ok, or could be modified to work (the mounts) but it's the fill that would be the issue. E bay has tanks & brackets all the time. The fill would be in your back door compared to a pickup.

Thanks for the help. i can figure out something for a new filler neck, i was mainly concerned that the rear seat was were the tank should be.
