Just bought this truck and it came with a K & N which has to go.

I want a genuine Donaldson for my truck. Where can you get them? Or, can you get a Donaldson from NAPA that is just rebadged with a NAPA box and NAPA part number? Or, is there a equivalent product that flows and protects like Donaldson.

We get so much airborne very fine particulates in the winter and spring. They gravel the roads in the winter with volcanic rock. Its red and crushes real easy after vehicles run over it. It turns into a fine powder.

Pits the heck out of windshields too.

Smart move...'rock flour' is what they called it near the glaciers in Alaska...nasty fine stuff!

NAPA is usually WIX filters re-boxed. A side note, the Wix fuel filter for the Duramax does not meet GM specs.
Donaldson I am not sure but I would search the net/or ask IHC, Freightliner dealers.
