Need to replace the idler, pivot and pitman on my 2001 Silverado 2500HD. I've found the torques for both ends of the pitman, idler-to-center link and pivot-to-frame, but I'm not seeing the correct torque spec for the idler arm-to-pivot shaft. I've seen 100 ft/lbs and 70 ft/lbs. What's the correct torque?
Thanks guys.

looking at the service manual for an 02pg 2-92 & 2-96 it appears they are doing the idler arm as an assembly and do not show the torque for that point. They do list the idler arm to "relay rod nut" as 46 lb ft. And idler to frame bolts @ 73 lb ft. Check the diamater to see if it's the same on both ends & use that torque value or increase accordingly is what I'd do with a dab of locktite on it. Hope that helps!
