2001 duramax fuel filter question

I have the Duramax universal aux. filter and i am wondering if someone makes a 1 micron filter that will fit it. Does anyone know? The one that comes with it is a 2 micron. The filter i have is below

Hmmm... 2 micron is about as low as we can really go and still maintain a reasonable filter life. The finer the filter media, the shorter its service life and more restriction it imposes on the fuel supply side.
