17" wheels - recommendations

i've got an 07 (new body style) 3500HD, 4wd, crew cab w/16" wheels (stock as far as i know, but bought the truck used).
It's time for new tires & i was thinking about going to 17" wheels. Does anyone have any recommendations ??

Also looking for recommendations for tires to go with the 17" wheels. I tow a fifth wheel & don't want to raise the rear of the truck with larger diameter wheels or tires. Matter of fact, if i go to 17" wheels, i'd be looking for tires that would give me about the same tire diameter, maybe just a little larger.

Howdy shadow (again),

I run MOTO Metal 17" wheels with Michelin 265/70R17's for daily driving. Almost exactly the same diameter as stock set up, so no problems whatsoever.

Something I forgot to mention on your 19.5" wheel tire combo is that the diameter is about 1/2" taller. So in my application it throws off my speedo by about 10" (running faster than speedo shows - bad for tickets), and the rotational difference means I can't use 4WD or cruise. Of course these "problems" would disappear if I ran 19.5" combo on all 4 corners (with the exception of the speedo error, of course).
