longer oil filter

Any issues using a longer oil filter than the book is calling out? I have 6 longer Napa filters (7.5") that fit on my 84 that I would like to use. The called out Napa filter is approximately 5" long.

Bigger is better. If they fit, you are ahead in the game. Greater media surface area decreases the oil flow velocity rate, which increases efficiency of the filter.
