Does anyone have the 1st generation serpentine belt rear alternator bracket? It is the steel bracket that secures the back side of the alternator and also shims the cast bracket away from the engine about 1/4". IIRC this also has an engine lift hook built into it. This bracket is not available new. FYI this is for the setup with the alternator on the drivers side (L.H. Side) of the engine. Thanks!

I may have one. Is your broken or missing? I'll need a picture and measurements to verify the fit.

Mine is missing. I bought a "complete" serpentine setup that turned out to be one bracket short. I'll see if I can actually get a picture from GM parts.com or something. If you have it, what do you want for it?

You might also look at www.lmctruck.com . They have a lot of stuff you can't find anywhere else.

These two brackets are what I need. The engine lift bracket and the rear alternator bracket (the steel one, not the cast one).

The part I need is #4 in this illustration (although it looks different).

I'd like to help, but need more info before digging through storage containers in my barn. I have a couple options, but need a good picture, or better description. The link in the above post is dead, and the picture you posted isn't helpful.

Any 88-95 6.2 or 6.5 Will have this alternator setup on it.

The lift bracket is very common, same for all 6.2's and 6.5's (not used on 1996+ models though).

The alternator bracket is as specified above ranges.

I have one for pictures to help out Greg. I think I'd want too much for mine, since they're not really all that easy to find and usually missing off trucks (including the 3500HD I'm working on for a customer).

I do need the left one and the center one. Those are the ones. Sorry about the pictures. I had do search the internet for them and the GM parts one was not much help. I don't know why the link is dead on the second one. Thanks for all your help, and let me know if you have any you are willing to part with and what you'd want for them.

Wait until Dmax replies, he may have both.

I have plenty of the part on the left. Just FYI the part in the middle is the same as on the far right, I had two just threw this in the pic to show different angle.

I'd do $25 and shipping on the lift bracket.

Sounds reasonable to me. We'll see what DMAX says first. By the way, thank you for posting up that picture. I had so much trouble trying to find anything I just about ripped my hair.
