Glow plug lite

I'm a new member and pleased with the fact that most questions and problems are addressed by other members. I own a 2004.5 Chev LLY Duramax. Recently the OK to start lite stays on instead of the couple of second warm time for the glow plugs. Is there a glow plug control circuit or what might the problem be? Appreciate any help on this. That just happened to me. After the 3rd start with the glow light not going out, the SES light came on. It was a bad glow plug.
